Transfer gossip: Blues ready to sell Oscar, Times say

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Chelsea will make Oscar available for transfer this summer, according to The Times.

The newspaper say incoming Blues boss Antonio Conte wants to sign a creative midfield player and is keen to keep Eden Hazard, Cesc Fàbregas and Willian despite speculation over their futures.

But with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich determined that signings should be funded by the sale of players, Oscar is likely to be sold as he is seen as dispensable, The Times say.

Conte is also said to be keen for Juan Cuadrado to return to Chelsea following the Colombian’s loan spell at Juventus.

Oscar has consistently been linked with a move to Juventus

Meanwhile, Paris St-Germain defender Marquinhos has once again been linked with a move to Chelsea.

The Daily Star declare that the 21-year-old Brazilian is set to spark a ‘Premier League transfer brawl’ this summer.

It comes after Spain-based transfer-gossip website Fichajes.net claimed Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are looking to sign him.

The Daily Mail believe another player Chelsea are reportedly keen on, N’Golo Kante, has a £20m release clause in his Leicester City contract.

Arsenal, Tottenham and PSG are also said to be interested in the midfielder.

The Sun pick up on Tuesday’s reports that Chelsea are looking to sign Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, suggesting it could mark the end for John Terry at Stamford Bridge.

‘Not true’

And Eden Hazard has denied reports he has agreed move from Chelsea to Real Madrid.

Speaking to Belgian television, Hazard said: “Have I signed for Real? No, that’s not true, I do not know who said that.

“For now, I am at Chelsea. I have a season to finish, and my contract ends in four years. For now, I’m here and I want to get back on the field with Chelsea.”
