Transfer gossip: Speculation continues over Bazoe and Courtois

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Chelsea have again been linked with a move for Ajax youngster Riechedly Bazoe.

Dutch magazine ELF Voetbal say the Blues are ready to buy Bazoe for £24m this summer.

The highly-rated 19-year-old midfielder has been linked with a number of English clubs in recent months.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror claim incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has given his approval for Thibaut Courtois to be sold.

Southampton and England keeper Fraser Forster is once again touted as a possible replacement for Courtois, who is said to be keen to leave Stamford Bridge.

Corinthians expect Alexandre Pato to stay at Chelsea when his loan spell finishes at the end of the season, Sky have reported.

Sources at the Brazilian club have apparently indicated that Conte is an admirer of the forward.

‘My home’

And Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci has played down speculation linking him with a summer move to Chelsea.

“I’m fine in Turin, my family is happy here,” Bonucci told Italian outlet Quotidiano Sportivo.

“I’m proud to be part of the history of Juve and I see no reason to leave. The marriage to the Bianconeri was done last year.

“With my agent we organise things like this: we evaluate any offers at the end of the season. But again, I’m fine at Juventus. This is my home.”
