Transfer gossip: Charlton tipped to make loan move for Chelsea youngster

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Charlton want to sign striker Tammy Abraham on loan from Chelsea this summer, the South London Press reports.

A number of League clubs have enquired about the prolific teenager, who is regarded as one of the Blues’ brightest prospects.

And he is said to be one of relegated Charlton’s main targets as they prepare for life in League One next season.

Meanwhile, there continues to be speculation over the future of keeper Thibaut Courtois, with The Sun now claiming he is set to leave Chelsea after learning that goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon will stay.

Courtois is said to be unhappy working with the Frenchman and to have told Antonio Conte that he would only be happy to stay if a new coach was brought in.

Conte plans to bring several members of his backroom staff to Stamford Bridge but has reportedly indicated that Lollichon will not be leaving.

And Chelsea have again been linked with former Newcastle playmaker Hatem Ben Arfa.

Talksport last month picked up on speculation in the French media that incoming Blues boss Conte could target the 29-year-old, who now plays for Nice.

Claiming an exclusive, The Times say Chelsea are pursuing deals to sign Ben Arfa, Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci and Rennes’ Ousmane Dembélé and have agreed a deal to sign Roma’s Radja Nainggolan.
