QPR round-up: Hammers interested in Eze as Rangers eye Moore

QPR forward Ebere Eze
West Ham have indicated they are interested in a potential deal to sign Ebere Eze from QPR.

Hammers boss David Moyes and his assistant Alan Irvine watched Rangers’ game against Millwall on Saturday.

Moyes is considering making a move to sign Eze, who scored in QPR’s 4-3 win – his 13th goal of the season.

Moyes has also been made aware of Ryan Manning’s potential availability this summer.

Manning scored too at the weekend and was outstanding in the second half of the game.

Rangers expect to receive firm bids for Eze this summer.

The 22-year-old has been linked with several Premier League clubs during the last year or so.

However, prior to West Ham’s the only solid interest in Eze has been from Crystal Palace.

Osayi-Samuel in Belgium discussing moveQPR: Bright Osayi-Samuel

Bright Osayi-Samuel is in Belgium discussing personal terms with Club Brugge after QPR accepted an offer for the winger.

Rangers are ready to sell for £4.7m after being unable to persuade Osayi-Samuel to sign a new contract.

The club triggered an option to extend his deal, which was due to end this summer, by 12 months.

But he indicated that he would continue turning down their offers of another contract.

It left QPR facing the prospect of losing him on a free transfer next summer.

Rangers hoped accepting an offer might lead to bids coming in from Championship clubs.

However, none have shown any solid interest despite several being linked with him.

Financial concerns meant transfer activity among EFL clubs was slowing even before the coronavirus pandemic, which has created huge uncertainty.

QPR therefore decided to accept an improved offer from Club Brugge, having previously rejected a bid of around £3m from the Belgian outfit.
