QPR confirm Cook’s new contract
QPR have confirmed that captain Steve Cook has signed a new deal after a clause linked to his appearances and the club avoiding relegation was triggered.
West London Sport revealed last month that the defender, who recently turned 34, was in line for a new contract.
He signed a two-year deal when he joined the R’s during the summer of 2023.
Cook missed the end of the season with a troublesome foot injury he initially suffered in December.
West London Sport also recently revealed that, in addition to Jonathan Varane signing a new contract, Michael Frey’s contract will be extended and Paul Smyth has been offered a new deal.
