QPR are assessing another knee injury suffered by Richard Kone.

The striker has struggled for fitness and form this season.

He recently returned to action after picking up a knee injury while playing for Rangers’ development side.

And more knee problems resulted in him going off after coming on as a substitute during the 3-0 loss at Birmingham.

It meant Rangers had to finish the match with 10 men, as they had made all their permitted substitutions.

“He felt something with his knee, but I don’t know exactly,” Stephan said when asked about Kone after the game.

Stephan also said he was unsure whether Ilias Chair is likely to be fit to return for next weekend’s home match against Championship leaders Swansea City.

Rangers’ loss to the Blues meant they dropped from fifth to ninth in the table.
