Former Man City man Balotelli rules out Chelsea move

Former Manchester City man Mario Balotelli has insisted he is not looking to return to the Premier League with Chelsea.

The AC Milan forward has been linked with a move to the Blues but has denied reports he could be on his way to Stamford Bridge.

Balotelli told Rai Sport: “They [the media] put out something about me every day. Nothing is true.”

Diego Costa is being linked with a move to Chelsea in a swap deal involving Thiabut Courtois.

Striker Costa has scored 19 goals this season for Atletico Madrid, where Blues keeper Courtois is currently on loan.

Citing German media reports of a possible swap deal, the Express suggest an agreement could be reached.

Manchester United are again being tipped to rival Chelsea for the signing of Southampton’s Luke Shaw.

The Express say United boss David Moyes has targeted the teenage left-back and Newcastle’s Yohan Cabaye following his recent capture of Juan Mata from Chelsea.

Shaw signed a five-year contract at St Mary’s last summer and Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino has said: “Southampton has no interest in selling him – not at this moment or in the summer. We have no intention.”

Meanwhile, German media reports suggest Fulham are weighing up a move for Kaiserslautern striker Simon Zoller.

QPR could miss out on the signing of Auxerre forward Paul-Georges Ntep because Rennes have increased their offer for him, Talksport claim.

Arsenal are supposedly interested in the France Under-21 international, who is one of a host of players QPR have discussed as a possible target.

Rennes have been looking to sign him but the player is keen to move to London and has been tipped to join the R’s.

The French club have made another offer, according to L’Equipe, and it is claimed that he could move there despite the apparent interest in England.
