QPR edge towards agreement over Belfodil

QPR appear to be edging towards an agreement with Parma which would allow them to take Ishak Belfodil on loan from Inter Milan.

Parma co-own the 22-year-old Algeria international, having signed him from Lyon in 2012 and agreed a deal for him to join Inter last summer.

In line for 50% of any transfer fee, Parma insisted they wanted Belfodil sold for at least £7.5m.

Rangers have been trying to smooth things over with the Italian club and seem to be making progress.

Belfodil, who has also attracted interest from West Ham, is one of several possible signings for Rangers ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.

QPR plan to narrow down their shortlist of targets and make offer for players by the middle of next week, but Belfodil will not be an option for them unless Parma can be placated.
