Transfer gossip: Mail link Hammers with Chelsea duo

Some of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

West Ham want to take Danny Drinkwater on loan from Chelsea and are also interested in Michy Batshuayi, the Mail say.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has made it clear that midfielder Drinkwater is not in his plans and can leave.

Batshuayi, meanwhile, has failed to impress on loan at Valencia and reports claim he could be sold by Chelsea or loaned to another club before Thursday’s deadline.

The Mail say West Ham have asked Chelsea about Drinkwater and that Fulham, Bournemouth and Burnley are also considering moves for him.

Dortmund and Juve want Christensen, Sun claim

Borussia Dortmund and Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen on loan.

Christensen has been a fringe player under Sarri this season and has indicated that he would like to go elsewhere in order to play first-team football.

The Sun say Chelsea are reluctant to let him go and want a £6m loan fee in order for any deal to go through.

Chelsea linked with Rakitic

Chelsea want to sign Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic in the summer, it is claimed.

The Blues have so far been unable to secure the replacement for Cesc Fabregas which Sarri says is essential.

And the Daily Express has picked up on a story by Spanish publication Sport, which claimed that Chelsea are lining up a move for Croatia star Rakitic.

Hudson-Odoi agreed to stay, Mail say

Callum Hudson-Odoi has agreed to stay at Chelsea for the rest of the season, the Daily Mail say.

Chelsea have rejected a recent transfer request by the young forward, who is wanted by Bayern Munich and whose contract at Stamford Bridge expires in 2020.

The Mail say he agreed to stay after meetings between his representatives and club director Marina Granovskaia.
