Tottenham looking to sign Mudryk on loan
Tottenham are looking to sign Mykhailo Mudryk on loan from Chelsea ahead of Tuesday night’s transfer deadline.
Chelsea recently rejected an approach from Leeds for Mudryk.
Discussions with the Yorkshire club have continued – but Spurs are now targeting the Ukraine winger.
Mudryk, 25, returned to action this summer after serving a 20-month suspension following a positive test for the prohibited substance meldonium.
His ban was lifted in July, allowing him to feature during Chelsea’s pre-season preparations.
He does not appear to be in new boss Xabi Alonso’s plans for this season, but the Blues are keen for him to play regular first-team football elsewhere and are assessing his options.
