Praise for Dickie after QPR draw

Mark Warburton praised Rob Dickie after QPR picked up a point at Millwall.

Dickie was outstanding for Rangers in their 1-1 draw at The Den, where Warburton’s side ended a three-match losing run.

And boss Warburton believes there is plenty more to come from the centre-back.

“He’s had a number of good games,” Warburton said.

“He’s getting better, Rob. He’s a young guy, has done very well and is still learning.

“He’s a very talented defender and there’s a lot more to come from him.

“It was a very comfortable performance tonight and he answered a lot of questions aerially and on the floor.

“I’m pleased for him. He’s a good player and he worked hard.”

Warburton also praised Lyndon Dykes for his performance but admitted he missed a “massive chance” to put Rangers 2-0 up after Ilias Chair’s cracking strike.

Soon after firing the visitors ahead, Chair teed up Dykes only for the striker to see a tame shot saved.
