QPR’s Stephan plays down reports of potential return to France

Julien Stephan has played down reports linking him with a potential return to France.

It has been claimed that the former Rennes and Strasbourg boss, who is approaching the end of his first season in west London, is attracting interest in Ligue 1.

“I am under contract with QPR and focused on QPR and nothing more,” Stephan said.

Asked if he expects to still be at Rangers next season, he said: “Yes, I am under contract and I am only focused on QPR, so no question now.”

Meanwhile, Stephan insisted an injury striker Rumarn Burrell suffered against Derby on Saturday is not a cause for alarm.
