QPR teams to play at Hanwell

QPR’s Under-23 and B teams will play at Hanwell Town this season.

The club’s women’s team already play their home matches at the Powerday Stadium, which is located just off the A40 in Perivale.

They will be joined by the two men’s teams, who have been playing at Wealdstone’s Grosvenor Vale since the creation of the new B team.

The newly-promoted Geordies, who will play in the Southern Premier League South for the first time in their history this season, beat a team of QPR youngsters 4-2 in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday evening.

Hanwell went ahead twice through Harry Rush’s 30-yard lob and a goal from a trialist, with Rangers equalising through Kayden Harrack and then Micah Anthony before the home side wrapped up the win with two late goals from Gareth Chendlik.

As part of the new arrangement between the clubs, Hanwell will offer half-price entry to their home matches to QPR season ticket holders.

Meanwhile, Watford’s Under-23s will play at Wealdstone this season.
