QPR midfielder Owens signs new contract

QPR midfielder Charlie Owens has signed a new one-year contract.

Owens, 24, returned to action last season following a long-term knee injury.

His contract was due to expire this month but he has been given another opportunity to establish himself at the club.

Owens was signed in 2017 after being released by Tottenham and has made three first-team appearances for the R’s – all of them in the Carabao Cup.

Meanwhile, Albert Adomah has agreed a new contract with Rangers, who are signing Jake Clarke-Salter on a three-year deal.
