Cameron set to return to QPR squad

Geoff Cameron is set to return to the QPR squad for Tuesday’s game against Wycombe.

Cameron, 35, was not in the squad for the win at Bristol City, where he was replaced by Jordy de Wijs.

“Geoff Cameron had a niggle at the weekend and will be available again,” confirmed Rangers boss Mark Warburton, whose side could move into the top half of the Championship if they beat the Chairboys.

De Wijs will be assessed, having played for just over an hour of the City game – his QPR debut.

The Dutch centre-back was sidelined by a calf problem following his arrival from Hull.

Warburton said: “We’ll see how the boys look this morning and what the medical team report back to me.

“But hopefully there will be no issues from Saturday and a nice squad to pick from.”
