QPR confirm signing of striker Dykes

QPR have confirmed the signing of Lyndon Dykes.

The Australia-born forward, 24, has joined the R’s from Livingston in a deal worth up to £2m. He has signed a four-year contract.

An offer for him was accepted by the Scottish club at the weekend.

Dykes (pictured on the left above) scored 14 goals in 36 appearances for Livingston.#

“I’m buzzing, obviously. Being at Livingston was great but to be at a club like this, I just want to put my head down now and kick on,” he told QPR’s website.

“I am a player who works hard for the team. I like to work hard for my team-mates. I want them to know that I’m putting it in for them. I am always going to give 100%.

“I am always willing to learn and hopefully I can score a few goals as well.”

QPR have also been hoping to bring back Jordan Hugill from West Ham.

However, Norwich have entered talks to sign the striker, who scored 15 goals while on loan at Loftus Road last season.
