QPR boss plans changes for Bristol City clash

QPR manager Mark Warburton

QPR boss Mark Warburton is expected to make changes for Tuesday’s Carabao Cup game against Bristol City.

Summer signings Liam Kelly, Dom Ball, Marc Pugh and Nahki Wells are among those likely to feature, while Todd Kane might also play.

Warburton is hoping that Matt Smith and Jan Mlakar, who missed Saturday’s draw against Huddersfield, will be available.

“We will use the squad but we will go out with the full intention of being the best we possibly can be,” Warburton said.

“We want to win the game. You can’t talk about a winning mentality and then say ‘Tonight’s alright, don’t worry about that’. I’m sure Bristol City will be the same.”
