QPR assessing Kolli injury ahead of Preston trip
QPR are assessing what appears to be a minor injury sustained by Rayan Kolli during their 2-1 win against Watford.
Kolli put Rangers ahead at Loftus Road with his third goal in two matches, but he was substituted at half-time and could be a doubt for Monday’s game at Preston.
Head coach Julien Stephan said he was unsure of the nature of the problem but did not believe it was serious.
Stephan explained: “The medical staff told me during half-time that he needed to stop, probably more as a precaution.
“So it was a precaution and I don’t think it’s a bad injury, but we need to assess him tomorrow to know exactly what happened.
“It’s a short time – Monday we have the next game. So let’s see. But it’s not a bad one.”
