Transfer gossip: Bees and Tottenham among clubs linked with Dieng

Some of the recent transfer speculation involving QPR…

Brentford and Tottenham are said to be among clubs interested in QPR goalkeeper Seny Dieng.

The Guardian’s Will Unwin believes the Bees, Spurs and Brighton are monitoring Dieng ahead of a possible move for him in the summer.

Juve and Dortmund linked with Iroegbunam

Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are tracking Tim Iroegbunam, it has been claimed.

Teamtalk claim the two clubs are showing an interest in the midfielder, who is on loan at QPR from Aston Villa.

The website reckon Dortmund have identified the “rarely seen” Iroegbunam as a possible “successor” to England star Jude Bellingham at the German club.

Cochrane linked again

Left-back Alex Cochrane has again been linked with QPR.

Cochrane was touted for a move last year, when he was on loan at Hearts from Brighton. The R’s showed no real interest in signing him.

He subsequently joined Hearts on a permanent deal and is being touted for a return to England now the transfer window has opened.

The Mail say Rangers, who have Kenneth Paal at left-back, are interested in Cochrane along with Southampton and Coventry.

Dykes touted for Ibrox move

QPR striker Lyndon Dykes continues to be linked with a possible move to join Mick Beale in Glasgow at Rangers.

Beale quitting Loftus Road to take over at Ibrox has prompted a host of reports suggesting he wants to sign Scotland international Dykes.

Dykes went 10 matches without a goal during Beale’s short spell at the helm.

Beale was frustrated with QPR’s lack of firepower and was keen to bring in a new striker had he stayed at the club.

Villa ‘plotting a move’ for Chair

Aston Villa are interested in QPR star Ilias Chair, it is claimed.

Football Insider reckon Villa are “plotting a move” for Chair, who has been in excellent form for the R’s.

The website reports that Villa have been sending scouts to Loftus Road on a regular basis.

The scouts are said to be “in no doubt he has the talent to dazzle in the Premier League”.

QPR currently have Iroegbunam on loan from Villa and it is standard practice for scouts to watch players from their club when they are on loan elsewhere.
