Jamie Mackie has stepped up his comeback from injury.
The QPR forward, who had back surgery in January, was involved in part of the first-team squad’s training session on Monday.
The 32-year-old has not played since Rangers’ defeat at Preston on 2 December but hopes to return before the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Idrissa Sylla has stepped up his training as part of his comeback from a calf problem.
Manager Ian Holloway believes striker Sylla, also out since December, is close to returning to action.
And Joel Lynch is back in training and could be available for Tuesday’s game against Derby County.
