Joel Lynch has trained with the rest of the QPR squad ahead of Tuesday’s game against Derby County.
Lynch picked up a knock during the recent defeat against Nottingham Forest and has also been ill.
He was therefore sent home from training and left out of the squad for Saturday’s game at Aston Villa, which was subsequently postponed because of the wintry weather conditions.
But the defender trained on Monday and Rangers are hoping he will be available for this week’s match.
His fitness will be assessed before manager Ian Holloway names his squad for the game at Loftus Road.
