Chair could train with QPR squad next week – Stephan

Ilias Chair could train with the rest of the QPR squad next week, Julien Stephan says.

The injury-plagued Chair has been out since limping off during Rangers’ home win against West Brom on 6 December.

Head coach Stephan said: “He’s on rehab. The rehab is OK. I hope he will be able to restart part of the session with us next week.”

Meanwhile, Ronnie Edwards is “100%”, according to Stephan, and in contention to start for QPR against Coventry on Saturday.

But recent signing Justin Obikwu is nursing a minor injury and could miss the game against his former club.
