QPR assessing another Chair injury

QPR are to assess another injury suffered by Ilias Chair.
The Rangers playmaker has been plagued by injury problems in the past couple of seasons and has had a growing influence since his recent return to action.
He limped off during first-half stoppage time against West Bromwich Albion at Loftus Road, where the hosts won 3-1.
Asked after the game about Chair’s injury, head coach Julien Stephan said: “I don’t know exactly. I didn’t have time to speak with the doctor and the performance staff.
“We will probably do an assessment tomorrow and (or) in two days to see exactly what’s happened, but I can’t tell you exactly what is the situation.
“I hope he will come back quickly, and if it’s not the case then we have other players who can play in this position – even though Illy has been in very good form in the last weeks.
“It’s part of football. We didn’t have a lot of injuries these past two months. But I hope he will come back quickly.”
Rumarn Burrell scored twice in QPR’s win, making it eight goals in the striker’s past 10 matches and nine for the season, but Stephan was quick to praise the “fantastic” Richard Kone.
