Fulham winger Kevin has surgery
Fulham winger Kevin has undergone surgery on his foot.
The Brazilian suffered an injury to his fifth metatarsal during the Whites’ recent win at Sunderland.
The operation appears to have gone well but the club are unsure when Kevin will be available for selection.
“Everything went well. Difficult to say what is going to be the timescale of the rehabilitation, but everything went well and now is the moment for him to start the rehab,” said boss Marco Silva.
“Let’s hope everything goes in the direction that we expect.”
Joachim Andersen will return to the squad for Wednesday’s game against West Ham, having missed out against Tottenham at the weekend because of illness.
Harry Wilson picked up an ankle injury in that game and will be assessed before Silva names the side to face the Hammers.
Silva explained: “Joachim is 100%. He’s OK. Harry is one of the players that I said we have to keep assessing and see.
“Tomorrow we are going to take some important decisions related to the game and with the squad list.
“Joachim was not injured, it was an illness, and he’s ready to go again.”
