Fulham in talks to sign James from Leeds

Fulham are in talks to sign Dan James from Leeds United in the final hours of the transfer window.

The Wales forward, 24, has attracted interest from a number of clubs in recent weeks.

Those clubs include Tottenham, but James would be more likely to get regular first-team football with Fulham, who now appear to be leading the race to sign him.

Whites boss Marco Silva has made it clear he wants to further add to his squad, particularly in attack.

James’ Wales team-mate Harry Wilson is currently out injured and Silva is keen to bring in reinforcements.

Meanwhile, Fulham are set to sign former Tottenham forward Carlos Vinicius from Benfica.
