Chelsea prepared to listen to offers for Juan Mata, Sky claim

Chelsea are reportedly willing to sell Juan Mata amid reports that Manchester United are planning to table a bid.

Several clubs have been linked with the Spaniard, and Sky Sports claims Chelsea are prepared to listen to offers.

Meanwhile, Turkish teenager Hakan Calhanoglu, a transfer target for Chelsea according to Talksport, has been tipped to sign a new contract at Hamburg.

The Blues will supposedly be disappointed along with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, who are also said to be keen on him.

Midfielder Calhanoglu, 19, has been compared to Arsenal’s Germany star Mesut Ozil.

Talksport also claims Alberto Moreno is wanted by Chelsea and that Sevilla have rejected an offer from Napoli for the 21-year-old defender.

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has stated that his club rejected a bid from Chelsea for Franck Ribery in 2008.

Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov is again being touted as a possible signing for Arsenal, this time by The Independent.

And Cagliari are the latest club said to be interested in Julio Cesar.

Italian media are reporting that the Serie A outfit plan to make an offer for QPR’s out-of-favour goalkeeper.
