Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City again linked with ex-Liverpool star

Real Madrid have offered Xabi Alonso to Chelsea, the Daily Star say.

Manchester United and Manchester City are also said to have been offered the chance to sign the former Liverpool midfielder, who has been tipped to leave the Bernabeu this month.

It is claimed that United are not looking to sign him but that City boss Manuel Pellegrini is potentially interested.

Alonso, 32, played under Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho at Real and has been repeatedly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

The player is reported to currently be earning £140,000 a week.

i get furious anytime i see david moyes picture anywhere. His attitude and inability to wim games always drive me crazy. He failed to realised that majority of united players are perform below average. Some of those players does not worth to put on united shirt or they are not worth to be a united player. Yet, he feel relunctant to sign more players. I think he should be sacked.

When Liverpool ruled the waves, we made a lot of basic mistakes: we should have improved the stadium while we we’re dominating Europe, we also we’re eliminated for 5yrs, all this destroyed a very efficient machine, but it also showed how frail, how fragile all this power could be, don’t be kidded Ferguson got out expediently because he seen it coming, he knew a lot of his squad we’re living on borrowed time, I still can’t believe how they duped everyone last season by winning it at a canter, but the signs where there and there isn’t going to be a short time solution, I’m afraid it happens to the best of institutions, get over it, except it and move on, this will take a lot of time and patience.
