Chelsea fans on Twitter react to Ivanovic’s display against Everton
Many Chelsea fans on Twitter laid into vice-captain Branislav Ivanovic’s performance in the 3-3 draw with Everton on Saturday.
The visitors’ first two goals originated from Leighton Baines crosses that Ivanovic failed to cut out, while he was also criticised for ball-watching as Ramiro Funes Mori made it 3-2, prior to John Terry’s equaliser.
Although Chelsea are reportedly ready to offer the Serb a new contract, it seems many Blues supporters seem keen to drop him and explore other options, such as Cesar Azpilicueta, at right-back.

abramovic should sale ivanovic. This guy is finished. I saw how awful is performance was. Bring in maquino from PSG as a LB and take Azpli to the RB. It hurts much seeing players with such kind playing. Please, hiddink listern to us funs and let that thing go.

Ivanovic suppose to go.Chelsea have so many options for the right back. Why we bought baba rhaman? That guy is good. Ivanovic is not right back. He is a central defender. Azip is not a left back. He is a right back. Please Hidinkki use those guys to their normal position please. Stop gambling like morinho

I am afraid i have to agree – Branny just cant cope. we got to face it. Branny and Terry are now serious liabilities in our defense. At the moment our front is weak and this season the the back being really weak because of these two we got to do something. its a painfully sad and a reality that hurts me
