Eden Hazard’s comments that the Chelsea squad do not want Tottenham to win the title have provoked strong reactions on Twitter.
Title rivals Leicester and Spurs both have to visit Stamford Bridge before the end of the season, but Blues winger Hazard said he believed the Foxes deserved to be champions.
Cesc Fabregas, a former Arsenal midfielder, had earlier also said Chelsea were determined to stop Tottenham – and the pair’s remarks were not well received by some.
Tottenham really do need to have the title in our hands by the final day. The comments by Fabergas and Hazard are so unprofessional #THFC

Hazard scores against B’mouth when he’s been missing all season then suddenly thinks he can talk about Spurs like his opinion is relevant.

Many Chelsea fans, though, enjoyed Hazard’s fighting talk and predicted he would play a big part when the two sides meet next week.
Spurs title hopes will end next Monday thanks to an Eden Hazard screamer

Eden Hazard what a man. Clearly hates Spurs. Doesn’t want any glory for them at all.

I don’t get why everyone is moaning about what Hazard said yesterday. Of course we don’t want Spurs to win the title, everyone will agree!👊🏼

Some Arsenal supporters found themselves in the unusual position of being behind Chelsea, but a few Manchester United and Liverpool fans were unimpressed with Hazard’s behaviour.
Hello Eden Hazard, welcome back from your year out the game, you have arrived just in time for Spurs. Beat them will you. Thank you.

Chelsea can put Spurs firmly to bed next week, Hazard and Cesc hitting form.
Fans demanding a win to end it.
Cmon the Blues.

Here’s an idea Eden, concentrate on what you and Chelsea have been like this season.

Hazard saying he wants LCFC 2 win the league and not Spurs. Your views are irrelevant Eden. No one bothers about what u think. Shut Up. #CFC

Bit risky Eden Hazard saying none of us at Chelsea want Spurs to win title. Especially if it comes down to last game of the season.
