Maurizio Sarri is hopeful Eden Hazard will sign a new contract at Chelsea.
Hazard, whose current deal runs until 2020, has been consistently linked with Real Madrid.
He has spoken about his dilemma over whether to extend his Blues contract or leave the door open to a potential move to Spain.
N’Golo Kante has cemented his long-term future at Chelsea by signing a new five-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
And Blues boss Sarri appears to be confident that Hazard will eventually put pen to paper as well.
He said: “With Eden I don’t know the evolution of the deal for a new contract, but I think we can do it. I hope so.”
Speaking at a media conference on Friday afternoon, Sarri also revealed that Mateo Kovacic is expected to be available for Saturday’s derby against Tottenham at Wembley.
