Rosenior praises players after Chelsea cup win
Liam Rosenior praised his Chelsea side for a “really professional performance” after their 4-0 win against his former club Hull City comfortably secured a place in the FA Cup fifth round.
Pedro Neto scored a hat-trick against the Championship promotion chasers, who were well beaten.
Blues head coach Rosenior said: “They’re not just good players, they’re outstanding professionals.
“It was a really professional performance against a very good team who are pushing for the Premier League.
“It was not an easy game and some of our football was everything I want to see. But before that, the values of what the team stood for tonight made me a very happy coach.”
Estevao also scored and a number of Chelsea players produced excellent performances, but Neto stole the show.
“The overall positive was the application of the team – our pressing, intensity and work rate, and Pedro exemplified that,” Rosenior declared.
