Pedro a doubt for Champions League game after picking up injury

Pedro is a doubt for Chelsea’s Champions League game against Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Blues striker Radamel Falcao is unavailable after picking up a knock in training and summer signing Pedro could also miss out after suffering a muscular injury.

The Spain international will be assessed ahead of Wednesday’s match at Stamford Bridge, where Oscar is set to return to action.

Brazilian playmaker Oscar has been out since the draw against Swansea on the opening day of the season.

Manager Jose Mourinho said on Tuesday that he planned to make changes to his side in order to try a “different dynamic” following Chelsea’s disappointing start to the campaign.

The likes of Loic Remy and youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek are hoping to be given a starting place, while recent signing Baba Rahman is in line for his debut.
