Lacroix faces spell out but Caicedo fit for Chelsea’s clash with Man Utd

Maxence Lacroix is expected to be out until after next month’s international break, Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso has confirmed.
The defender picked up a hamstring injury in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup defeat at Liverpool and will miss Saturday’s Premier League game at home to Manchester United.
“Max picked up an injury and we expect he is not going to be ready before the international break,” Alonso said. “He will be a few weeks out.”
But there was better news on Moises Caicedo, who Alonso said is available for the visit of United.
“No issue. He’s okay for tomorrow,” said the Blues boss.

Pep Chavarria is also back in contention, although Jorrel Hato will not be available.
Alonso said there is a chance keeper Emi Martinez could return before the international break, but added: “We still need to wait until next week.”
Cole Palmer is available again after serving a one-match suspension, while Joao Pedro remains sidelined.
Meanwhile, Aaron Anselmino, who has yet to feature for Chelsea, is still not in contention.
“He’s not available yet. He’s had a few injuries. It will take a few weeks until he is fully fit,” Alonso explained.
