Chelsea’s Swift extends Brentford loan

John Swift has extended his loan with Brentford until the end of the season.

The Chelsea midfielder has played 14 times for the Bees since joining in October, scoring three goals, all away from home.

Swift, 20, is on his third loan spell away from Stamford Bridge, after spending time at Swindon and Rotherham.

On Sunday, Brentford also retained Liverpool loanee Sergi Canos until the end of the season.
