Brentford extend Canos loan

Brentford have extended the loan for Liverpool teenager Sergi Canos until the end of the season.

The Spaniard has made 16 appearances for the Bees since joining the club in August, scoring twice.

His initial deal was due to expire on 2 January but Canos will now stay at Griffin Park for the rest of the campaign.

Canos, 18, has been at Liverpool for two years having come through Barcelona’s academy.

He signed professional forms last summer and has played for the Reds at Under-21 level.
