Transfer gossip: Mirror say West Ham are keen on Cahill

The transfer speculation involving Chelsea in Saturday’s newspapers…

West Ham are considering a January move for Gary Cahill, the Daily Mirror say.

A number of other clubs have recently been linked with the Chelsea defender, who has been overlooked by Blues boss Maurizio Sarri this season.

Cahill, whose contract expires next summer, has said that he is ready to seek a move when the transfer window reopens if he is still not in the Chelsea side.

The Mirror say West Ham are interested in taking Cahill to the London Stadium.


Mirror say Atletico want Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas, whose contract also expires this summer, is wanted by Atletico Madrid, again according to the Mirror.

The Mirror say AC Milan are among other clubs keen on Fabregas, who has said that he would like to stay at Chelsea.


Chelsea to offer £20m for Tonali, Sun claim

Chelsea are again being linked with Brescia’s teenage midfielder Sandro Tonali.

The 18-year-old was recently reported to be a target for the Blues as well as Italian clubs AC Milan, Inter, Juventus and Roma.

The Sun now claim Chelsea “will blow Serie A’s giants out of the water” by tabling a £20m bid for Tonali, who has been dubbed the ‘new Andrea Pirlo’
