Injured Pedro a doubt for Tottenham game

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says he is unsure if Pedro will be fit to face Tottenham at Wembley next Sunday.

The Spaniard missed the opening-day defeat at home to Burnley with an ankle injury.

Fellow midfielders Tiemoui Bakayoko and Eden Hazard have already been ruled out of the opening weeks of the season.

Speaking immediately after the Burnley game, Conte cast doubt on Pedro’s availability, and rued the suspensions for Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas following their red cards at Stamford Bridge.

“In the next game, I don’t know if Pedro is able to recover from his injury,” Conte said.

“But for sure we’ll have two players out for bans, Cahill and Fabregas. We’ll find the right solution.”

  • I want Eminalo sack with immediate effect. He is not doing nothing for the club .He dnt know the players he should buy let choose his player

  • pls Mr Eminalo buy two or three more players for Chelsea, and give Conte the chance of buying.

  • I'M IMPRESSED WITH THE PLAYERS CFC HAVE, BUT WE NEED REIFORCEMENTFOR UCL COMPETITION

  • Pls, what mr emenalo is doing? his ransfer symtem is bad.no option for chelsea now!

  • Our squad is OK only injury and suspension is what affected us. If our injured and suspended players should return, Chelsea will be very formidable

  • I think the blame should be on Eminalo,he is not doing well on transfer.he need to be sacked

  • good news s gotten from work. Chelsea s falling back, n our chances a limited. pls de board should sign 3 more players quickly. our confident s running disgrace n let quite nightmares.

  • No we don't need more signings. maybe one or two inform players but we can tactically use what we have to win games. Even the loaned out players could be recalled. I tot Nathan Ake Make was a real good asset. if all options are exhausted, we can go ahead and park the famous bus but no excuse should be given for failure this season.
