Bayern Munich are reportedly set to make a £40m bid for Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi after he handed in a transfer request.

Bayern have offered £35m for the teenager and the Mail on Sunday say the German club now plan to increase that bid in an attempt to get a deal done ahead of Thursday’s deadline.

The newspaper also say that RB Leipzig are ready to make an offer for Hudson-Odoi – apparently for £20m but with a buy-back clause, which reports have claimed Chelsea want and Bayern are unwilling to include.

Fulham eyeing Valencia – Sun on Sunday

Fulham have been linked with Manchester United’s Antonio Valencia.

The Sun on Sunday say United could allow their captain to go this week and that the Whites and Newcastle are interested.

It is claimed that Valencia, whose contract expires this summer, has been told he can leave Old Trafford before then either on loan or even a free transfer.

Fulham are said to be interested after supposedly missing out on Victor Moses, who has left Chelsea to join Turkish club Fenerbahce.

Cahill and Dann deals mooted

Crystal Palace want to take Gary Cahill on loan in a deal which could lead to Scott Dann joining Fulham from the south London club, The Sun on Sunday say.

Palace are reported to have targeted Cahill after the Chelsea defender rejected a move to Fulham.

The Sun on Sunday suggest Fulham could instead end up signing Eagles centre-back Dann if Cahill moves to Palace.
