Hudson-Odoi hands in transfer request in attempt to force Bayern move

Callum Hudson-Odoi has handed in a transfer request in an effort to push through a move to Bayern Munich.

The 18-year-old forward recently told Chelsea he wanted to leave Stamford Bridge amid interest from Bayern.

Chelsea have been offered £35m for Hudson-Odoi by the German club, who want to complete a deal to sign him ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline.

The player’s contract is due to expire next year and he has made it clear he will not sign a deal.

He has been offered a huge pay rise by Chelsea but wants to move on in order to play first-team football.

Meanwhile, Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is close to completing a move to Atletico Madrid.
