Antonio Conte has insisted that Oscar will stay at Chelsea despite recent reports the Brazilian will be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge.

Oscar has been linked with the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan, with speculation about his future increasing since he was left out of the Blues starting line-up.

And there have been reports that boss Conte will look to sell the 25-year-old when the transfer window reopens in January.

But Conte said: “Oscar’s future is at Chelsea. For me he is an important player in my squad.

“It is logical that I have to pick a starting 11 every week, but Oscar is a great player and for me he will stay at Chelsea.

“Oscar will stay with us because, I repeat, I consider him to be an important player.”

Meanwhile, Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas are expected to be passed fit for Chelsea’s game at Middlesbrough on Sunday.
