Chelsea’s Costa doubtful for Arsenal game

Chelsea striker Diego Costa has not broken his leg but is still a doubt for Sunday’s trip to Arsenal.

The Spain international was taken to hospital having suffered an injury in the 3-3 draw with Everton on Saturday.

Scans have shown a bruise to his shin but no fracture and he underwent more treatment at Chelsea’s training ground on Sunday.

Costa’s fitness will be monitored over the next few days before a decision is taken on whether he can feature at the Emirates next weekend.
