Chelsea youngsters are beaten by Tottenham

Chelsea’s Under-18s lost 2-0 at Tottenham on Saturday.

Paris Maghoma opened the scoring midway through the second half, rounding keeper Karlo Zigler before slotting home.

The visitors had chances to equalise, with George Nunn heading over, Marcel Lewis having an effort cleared off the line and Clinton Mola also going close for Chelsea.

But Spurs remained a threat going forward and Samuel Shashoua’s goal with a quarter of an hour remaining sealed their win.

On Friday evening, Tammy Abraham featured for Chelsea’s development side in a 1-0 defeat against Derby at Stamford Bridge, where Charly Musonda was sent off.
