Transfer speculation involving Chelsea in Wednesday’s newspapers…

West Ham are said to be interested in Emerson Palmieri, who has also been linked with Inter Milan.

Emerson is expected to leave Chelsea following their signing of left-back Ben Chilwell.


Reports in Italy suggest Inter, managed by former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, want to buy Emerson.

The Independent, meanwhile, reports that West Ham are keen but would prefer a loan deal.

The newspaper speculate that there could be a potential part-exchange involving Declan Rice, but West Ham have insisted the England international is not for sale.

Bayern tipped to return for Hudson-Odoi

The Daily Mail say Bayern Munich are ready to revive their interest in Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Bayern tried to buy the youngster last year but he signed a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge after breaking into the first team.

He now faces competition for a place from the likes of Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech.

The Mail suggest could therefore leave Chelsea and that Bayern remain interested in a possible deal.
