Chelsea ‘need to be careful’ with Colwill
Chelsea “need to be careful” when managing Levi Colwill’s comeback, says interim boss Calum McFarlane.
The defender recently returned from a long-term knee injury and has started for Chelsea in their past two matches.
They face a London derby against relegation-threatened London rivals Tottenham at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.
Asked if Colwill is likely to feature in the game, McFarlane said: “We need to be careful with Levi. He’s performed well in those two games. We’ll see how he looks today.
“It’s been great to have Levi back – and great for English football as well. We have a really talented, high-potential player. We’re all really excited about Levi.”

Benoit Badiashile, Mamadou Sarr and Romeo Lavia were all absent for the FA Cup final against Manchester City on Saturday.
Lavia has been nursing a slight knock, while Badiashile and Sarr were left out but could return to the squad against Spurs if Colwill is rested.
McFarlane explained: “They didn’t make the squad (against City). They’re training really well, training really hard.
“We can use them in the next two games, potentially, but we’ve got a lot of players in those positions, so you want to make sure you’ve got the right balance on your bench, but nothing to report with those two.”
