Chelsea confirm De Bruyne loan move

Chelsea have confirmed Kevin De Bruyne’s move to German side Werder Bremen on a season-long loan.

The Belgian winger, a January signing from Genk, made his Blues debut in the recent pre-season friendly against Seattle Sounders.

De Bruyne, 21, has been signed by the Bundesliga outfit as a replacement for Marko Marin, who moved to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Another Chelsea youngster, Gael Kakuta, is also expected to be loaned out, with a number of French clubs showing an interest.
