Valencia completes £1.8m move to Brentford

Joel Valencia has completed his move to Brentford. 

The 24-year-old Ecuadorean forward has moved to Griffin Park for £1.8m from Polish champions Piast Gliwice.

He scored six goals in 33 appearances in the Polish top flight last season and previously played for Spain at youth level.

The Bees have been keen to sign another forward this summer regardless of whether Neal Maupay, Said Benrahma or Ollie Watkins, who have all attracted Premier League interest, leave the club.

Meanwhile, Brentford have rejected an offer of £6.5m for Sergi Canos from Russian side FC Krasnodar.
