Brentford set to offer Henry new deal

Brentford are set to offer Rico Henry a new deal.

The left-back, signed from Walsall in 2016, has two years left on his current contract.

Injury problems have restricted him to 34 league starts since his move to Griffin Park.

But Brentford plan to give him an improved deal and cement his long-term future at the club.

Henry, 22, faces potential competition for his place from Dominic Thompson, who joined the Bees from Arsenal on Thursday.

But the club were unable to bring in a striker to replace Neal Maupay.
