Frank: Bees determined to keep Henry

Thomas Frank has insisted that Brentford have no intention of letting Rico Henry leave.

Celtic have been linked with Henry, who has been touted as a possible replacement for Kieran Tierney at Parkhead following the Scotland left-back’s move to Arsenal.

West London Sport recently revealed that Brentford plan to offer Henry a new deal in order to cement his future at Griffin Park.

Henry, signed from Walsall in 2016, is currently under contract until 2021.

And Bees boss Frank told West London Sport: “Rico is one of our most talented players.

“We all know how difficult it is to find good left-footed full-backs and wing-backs and he’s one of the most talented in the division. So we definitely want to keep him longer term.”
