Palace still have ‘huge quality’ without Zaha – Frank

Brentford boss Thomas Frank insists Crystal Palace still pose a big threat without Wilfried Zaha.

Palace will be without Zaha and Joel Ward for the derby against the Bees on Saturday.

Zaha recently suffered a hamstring injury against Newcastle.

“I can’t sit here and say they are equally as good without Zaha, as that would not be the truth,” Frank said.

“But I think when other players come in with different dynamics, other players are stepping up and in (Michael) Olise and (Ebere) Eze, they are top individual players.

“With (Jean-Phillipe) Mateta, (Jordan) Ayew and (Odsonne) Edouardo up front, it is a very strong attack and I know they maybe haven’t scored as much as they would have liked to, but they have huge quality.”

Meanwhile, Ivan Toney has been passed fit for Brentford, who are unbeaten in 10 Premier League matches.
