QPR boss to assess Chair and McCallum ahead of Hull trip

QPR manager Mark Warburton
Mark Warburton says he will assess Ilias Chair and Sam McCallum before naming his squad for QPR’s trip to Hull City.

Both players have been ill – Chair was unavailable for Saturday’s draw with Millwall and the midweek Carabao Cup tie at Leyton Orient.

McCallum missed the Millwall game because of what manager Warburton described as “muscle tightness” and was expected to make his Rangers debut at Orient.

But the on-loan left-back also went down with illness and was not involved against the O’s.

Warburton explained: “We had a couple of illnesses the other night in Sam and Ilias. Sam’s getting there. Ilias is getting there.

“We’ll see how they are. They’ve had illness and we’ll see how that’s affected them from a strength perspective. I’ll see how they are today and we’ll know from then.”
